Parent Involvement

There are two mandatory parent meetings; one at the beginning and one at the end of each school year.  Dates for these meetings are announced in the principal's newsletter and are put on the ND Knights Debate calendar (powered by Google Calendars).  

Parents are primarily responsible for helping with fundraising for the team, including supporting the team through the Walkathon, helping coordinate concessions and food for judges at debate tournaments held at Notre Dame High School, etc. Head parents are designated for each school year and are supported by all the other parents. Information about specific fundraising opportunities are posted in more depth for debate parents on the Debate Parent Website (only current parents may view this portion of the website).
