Marine Corps Memorial Stadium
Notre Dame High School's Marine Corps Memorial Stadium is celebrated as the finest high school baseball facility in California. Baseball America
has hailed it as a "state-of-the-art" facility.
A complete renovation of the baseball stadium was approved by the NDHS Board of Directors in July 2013. It included the demolition of the previously existing stadium, new dugouts (with team rooms), new backstop and fencing, new stadium seating, new building façade with a concession stand, new batting cage, new scoreboard, new stadium lighting (for night games) and new synthetic field turf.
Fans have various options in the 350-seat stadium. There are home and visitor bleachers along the baselines. Behind home plate, there is a section of comfortable stadium seats that can be purchased by donors in perpetuity or on a season basis. In addition, there is a lawn (astroturf) area above the 3rd base dugout for lounging and folding chairs.
The concession stand has a live feed of games in progress. The stand also is used for football, track, soccer, swimming, water polo and tennis events.
Donations were made in honor of those who have served in the United States Marine Corps. Construction was completed in 2014. See photos and video from the stadium's opening day below.
