Teby Wammack is in her sixth year as a counselor and is excited what God has in store for the Notre Dame community this year! An L.A. native but always ready for an adventure, Teby left California after high school to experience the Pacific Northwest, completing her B.A. in Spanish from Whitworth University in Washington. She went on to earn her M.A. in Education with an emphasis in Counseling as well as her PPS credential from Pt. Loma Nazarene University in San Diego.
Teby brings diverse experience as a counselor. She began her career serving inner-city students at a public charter school in Watts, after which, she moved to a private Christian high school in Pasadena. Throughout her time in education Teby has also taught high school Spanish, coached both Cross Country and Soccer, as well as led various mission/global immersion trips- travelling with students around the globe. This myriad of experiences has enhanced her skill-set and deepened her empathy and love for students!
Teby is a member of several counseling organizations including National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC), American School Counselor Association (ASCA), and California Association of School Counseling (CASC).
