Coach Mills was born in Burbank, CA, but spent the majority of his upbringing in northern Virginia where he attended Chantilly High School. A two sport athlete in lacrosse and football, Coach Mills went on to become a high school US Lacrosse All-American, All-Metropolitan selection and 2008 state champion. After graduation, he attended Towson University where he was a four-year midfielder. As a senior, he led the team in face-off win percentage, ground balls and was voted the 2012 Towson University Strength and Conditioning Male Athlete of the Year. As a player, Coach Mills participated in the 2013 LXM Pro Tour. Prior to Notre Dame, Coach Mills was previously at Palos Verdes High School where they won the 2014 and 2015 CIF Los Angeles Championship. He was voted the 2014 CIF Los Angeles Assistant Coach of the Year. Professionally, Coach Mills is the program director for South Bay Lacrosse Club based out of Manhattan Beach, CA.
Coach Zoppo, a native to Baltimore, MD, attended Calvert Hall College High School. During his time in the program, the Cardinals were ranked #2 Nationally where he was selected to both the Under Armor and Adidas All-American teams as a midfielder. Zoppo went on to attend Division I Towson University where he was elected team captain, winning a CAA Championship in 2013. In 2012, he was selected to the USA U19 Men’s Lacrosse Team and was elected co-captain by his peers. Coach Zoppo led Team USA to the 2012 U19 World Championship earning a gold medal. Since graduating, Zoppo has coached at Calvert Hall and worked in lacrosse player development at Got Skillz Lacrosse in Baltimore. For the past three years, he has trained athletes ranging in age from 7-18 including numerous current Division I standouts. Professionally, Coach Zoppo is a program manager and coach for South Bay Lacrosse Club based out of Manhattan Beach, CA.
Junior Varsity Head Coach
Coach Dupere is a North Carolina native who attended Needham B. Broughton High School. For the Capitals, Coach Dupere was a letter winner all four years and a 3x All-State attackman. Coach Dupere was selected to play for the FCA National Team. His successes led him to High Point University where he was a three year starting attackman and midfielder. During his senior year, Coach Dupere led the Panthers to a Southern Conference Championship earning the programs first NCAA Tournament appearance. Professionally, Coach Dupere currently works in medical device sales.
Coach Farrell, a New York native, attended Millbrook School where he played lacrosse and hockey for the Mustangs. In 2008, Farrell was named a US Lacrosse All-American. After graduation, he attended Denison University where he was a four-year, starting defenseman for the Big Red. During his career, Farrell was named first team All-NCAC (x2), USILA All-American team (x2) while leading the Big Red to two consecutive NCAA Quarterfinals in 2011 and 2012. After Denison, Farrell was selected to participate in the 2013 LXM Pro Tour. Professionally, Coach Farrell works as media entrepreneur.
Head Strength and Conditioning Coach
Coach Garcia is a graduate of St. Francis High School in Mountain View, CA, where he won All-WCAL honors as an offensive guard in football and a shot putter in track and field. Nick continued his football and track career at San Jose City College where he started at middle linebacker in football and continued to throw shot put. He then accepted a track scholarship to California State University Northridge (CSUN). While at CSUN, Coach Garcia earned Bachelor’s and Masters’ degrees in Kinesiology and was a two-time Big Sky champion in shot put. Coach Garcia teaches Physical Education at Notre Dame.
