Girls Volleyball JV Placed 3rd at Valencia Tournament

The girls JV volleyball team played amazing, pulling out a third place finish at the Valencia High School JV Girls Volleyball Tournament this past weekend.

Playing teams from Santa Barbara to Canyon,  the girls made it almost all the way beating Notre Dame Academy in a nail biter 26-24. During this two day tournament, the team showed some of the best volleyball seen since the recent Harvard Westlake game. All the girls played exceptionally well and even freshman Caroline Page took home 1 of 5 "All Tournament" award.

Overall, the girls put forth effort and won a well deserved 3rd place victory, not to mention a hefty trophy.
 
The team this year without a doubt is starting the season strong after their win with Harvard-Westlake last week.  We saw a glimpse of their skills and talents when they won 1st place at the Bourroughs Volleyball Tournament this summer.
