Our Theater Department produces four plays every school year, and our Student Publication groups publish the school newspaper and the year book. Notre Dame competes in Academic Decathlon, and our Debate team and journalism students travel around the country competing in tournaments and participating in conferences. Our award-winning Irish Knight Band competes in many parades, gives concerts and supports our sports teams. In addition to all of this, ND has an extremely active Associated Student Body group which organizes dances and other social events throughout the year.
Technology
Our goal is to provide the teachers and students with the most up-to-date technology and preparation for the world. 36 classrooms contain SMART boards for an interactive classroom environment. 28 classrooms are furnished with mounted projectors that can display the teacher's computer, a DVD/VCR player, NDTV and a laptop computer. We currently provide three computer labs and one mobile lab. We also hope to provide one more computer lab for advanced computer and photography classes. Notre Dame's network is currently founded on the fastest backbone available.
Financial Aid
Notre Dame High School is committed to making a Notre Dame education available for as many young people and families as possible. Eligibility for aid is established through an application process to a school scholarship service. The purpose of using this independent service ensures the most equitable distribution of limited financial aid funds. Students will receive a total of $1,800,000 during the 2013-2014 school year.
