Congratulations to the Notre Dame Dance Guard, who had two competitions over the Easter Break. On April 15th, the Dance Guard competed at Arcadia HS and took first place in their division, at Championships on April 22, Dance Guard took first place in their division and 5th place overall out of the more than 70 groups in the HSAA category. Great job Dance Guard!

Tickets for Connectivity, a scene showcase featuring 12 actors of all grade levels, are now on sale. Performances will be Friday, April 28th at 7pm and Saturday, April 29th at 2pm. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased online at or in Ms. Goossen's office in the Holy Cross Center.

On April 28th and 29th, the Choir will be bring the silver screen to life at our Spring Concert: “Music from the Movies!” See Mrs. Sutley or a choir member for tickets. Students are only $5!

Makeup tryouts for Coffeehouse will be held today during x-period. If you plan on attending email or see Mr. Thomas today.

All uniform rules are in effect through the end of the year, including AP tests. Any students who need help with their school uniform for the remainder of the year, see a dean.

Any students who started driving to school recently should make sure to register their car and put a sticker on it. There is no fee at this point in the year, but you must register. Remember, there is no parking on Huston in front of the houses across from the Woodman Parking Lot or in the neighborhood.

There is detention tomorrow at 3:00.

Attention Juniors, The application paperwork for the Summer Immersion Experiences scheduled for June 21-23 and July 19-21 are now available on the table outside Mr. McGaha's office.

Completed paperwork is due back to Mr. McGaha before the start of classes on Wednesday, May 3 to be eligible for the Summer Immersion sessions. Scholarship Opportunity: Women in Public Finance, a non-profit organization, is offering an award and scholarship to junior females with at least a 3.0 GPA who have an interest in pursuing a public finance related career in finance, government, nonprofits or law. Recipients will receive a minimum amount of $1000. See Mrs. Abdaem in Counseling for an application.

Seniors, we know many of you are looking forward to senior privileges of free dress, but we suggest you keep at least one uniform set through the end in case your individual privilege is revoked. Details will follow later in the week about when privileges start and the specifics about what may be worn. But please don't be mislead by the term "free" dress.


There will be a brief mandatory meeting for the Girls Tennis Team this Friday at 3pm. You must attend the meeting in order to tryout for the 2017 team. Please meet in front of room 18 and be on time.

There will be mandatory meeting today for members of the Girls Beach Volleyball team at lunch in the Lecture Hall.
