Tickets for the senior play Front go on sale Monday. Tickets are $10 and will be sold in the quad at lunch until they sell out. You won’t want to miss the final Notre Dame performance by these talented seniors.

Come and enjoy a delicious treat. Churros will be sold for one dollar in the quad today!

Attention Dance Lovers!  Notre Dame’s Spring Dance Concert, entitled “All That Dance” is this Sunday, May 19th at 7pm in the gym.  Come see over 60 of your fellow ND students perform everything from Hip Hop to Contemporary dances.  Admission is free for students & faculty! General admission is $5.  Hope to see you Sunday! 

Kids 4 Kids are having a Carnival to raise funds to support kids in need on Sunday, May 19th.  Volunteers are needed for this worthy cause.  Contact information is on a poster outside the Christian Service Office.  Sophomore Lana Miller is the contact person.

Course requests for the 2013-2014 school year.  All students should be checking ABI to view updated course requests for the 2013-2014 school.  It is important to verify that the course list is correct and to see if you have been approved for AP/Honors classes that you requested.  Any corrections should be directed to your counselor.  Questions about AP, Honors, and other course approvals should be directed to the appropriate department chairperson or program head.  Corrections, questions, and appeals must be resolved no later than Thursday, May 23.  

The Weinberg Israel Fellowship Program, a branch of the Jewish Federation of Los Angeles, is for High School students looking to learn more about Israel and its diverse people. Students interested in learning more about the Weinberg Israel Fellowship Program come to a meeting with Mr. Robert Hendlish this Monday May 20 in Room 27 at 1:30.

For all those registered in AP Psych, there is a brief meeting in room 70 with Mrs. Reif on Monday May 20th at the beginning of X period. Please be prompt at 1:30

Want to get your parents out of the house Saturday afternoon?  Buy them tickets to the Irish Knight Band fund raising lunch being hosted by Buick of Sherman Oaks at their dealership on Ventura Blvd.  For $5.00 each your parents can partake of fine food from Stonefire Grill, look at the great new cars and trucks from Buick and GMC, and support our Irish Knight Band.  This fund raiser is sponsored by the Buick Dealers of Southern California.  Remember $5.00 each and your parents can be gone all afternoon.  The lunch is from 12:30 to 2:30 P.M. and tickets can be purchased in the Band Center.

Attention students scheduled for AP European History for the 2013/2014 school year. There is a meeting with Mr. Savage in the Lecture Hall at 1:30 on Monday May 20 for the summer reading assignment. Please be prompt!

Seniors! Who wants a free lunch from subway? Well all you have to do is bring in 5 or more articles of clothing to the used uniform sale. Deliver them straight to Mr. Thomas in the ASB office. Even better news? You won't need to keep any of those uniforms for finals! Seniors have free dress for all of their finals, so bring over those used uniforms as soon as possible!

Juniors: Cornell University’s College of Engineering is offering two programs for students interested in engineering. The Engineering Diversity Hosting Weekend (EDHW) focuses on students who identify with backgrounds traditionally underrepresented in engineering (African American/Black, Latino/a, and Native American, and The Women in Engineering Program (WIE), focuses on the experience of women engineers at Cornell. The programs will take place September 26 – 28, 2013 and will provide students with an inside view into life as a Cornell Engineer. See Ms. Abdaem in Counseling if you are interested. 

Sports

Tryouts for the Girls’ 2013 Tennis Team will begin Monday at 3pm. First time players on Monday, returning JV players on Tuesday, and returning Varsity players on Wednesday. Please make sure you have the proper equipment and be on time.
