Ms. Mae Greenwald

Mae is in her sixth year at Notre Dame High School. She works with seniors in preparing college and career plans beyond high school as well as directing the counseling department, and coordinating AP exams in the spring semester.  Mae assists with College Fair, and organizes the College Visits program. 

Beyond Notre Dame High School, Mae taught two graduate courses for school counseling and career counseling programs at California State University, Northridge. She has worked with the admissions department at UCLA to read more than 1500 applications in the 2009 and 2010 seasons. She presents career related information regularly for WACAC and other area high schools. Mae plans to teach this year at UCLA in the program for College Counseling,an online certificate course for college counselors.

Mae has an M.S. degree in Educational Psychology, Career Counseling from California State University, Northridge and a B.S. in Social Work from Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey. 



Mae is an active member of Western Association of College Admissions Counselors (WACAC), American School Counselor Association (ASCA), as well as the National Association of College Admissions counselors (NACAC).
