Danielle Burness has been at Notre Dame for thirteen years as a teacher and counselor. Over the course of those years she has worked with freshman, sophomores and juniors including those students with special needs. In addition to her case load, Danielle is the coordinator of our standardized testing program (PLAN and PSAT) and the Coordinator of Special Programs (Bullying Prevention Seminar, Santa Monica Rape Treatment Presentation, Freedom from Chemical Dependency Program, etc) and has taught English. After graduating from Loyola Marymount University with a Bachelor's Degree in English she continued her education earning two subsequent Master's Degrees in Secondary Education and in Counseling.
Danielle is a member of the American School Counselor Association (ASCA), the National Association of College Admissions Counselors (NACAC) and the Western Association of College Admissions Counselors (WACAC).
