Standards of Behavior

 
STANDARDS OF BEHAVIOR:
1. No food, drink, gum, or cell phones allowed.
2. Furniture may not be moved.
3. Students must be in a seat working..
4. One person per computer - NO LOITERING
5. No talking above a whisper.
6. No games until 3:00 pm.
7. Return borrowed materials promptly and in good conditions.
8. Courtesy and consideration for others are expected. Treat library materials and equipment with care. Clean up before leaving.
 
MATERIALS CHECK-OUT RULES:
1.
All library materials are checked out at the circulation desk by the librarian.
2.
Books circulate for two weeks except before holidays and the close of school in June. The due date will be stamped inside each book you check out.
3.
Reference materials DO NOT LEAVE THE LIBRARY.
4.
Teachers may put certain books on reserve or overnight loan.
5.
The fine is $.10 cents for each day a book is late. A notice will be sent out when your book is overdue or you owe fines. You MUST come in that day to see us. If you do not, you will be referred to the dean's office.
6.
DO NOT LOAN LIBRARY BOOKS TO OTHERS. You are responsible for the materials you check out.
 
COMPUTERS & COPIES:
1. You must use your username and password to log into the workstations.
2.
Never try to override blocked websites - Students may not use Admin log-ins. If you need to access a blocked website, please see the librarian.
3.
We give priority to students who are using the computers for school related work.
4. You may print up to ten pages from the computers for RESEARCH ONLY. Any print job over ten pages will be $.10 cents per page. The library printer does not print in color.
5.
The library has a copy machine. Copies are $.10 cents each.
