All applicants are required to send a request to some of your current teachers and/or administrators asking them to complete a recommendation form. All recommendation forms can be found in your personal Ravenna Hub. Once you log into your personal Ravenna Hub, you can find the recommendations under “Additional Steps” or “Show me what’s left”. Once you click on the appropriate form, select “add delegate”, then input the appropriate information, and click the “Send Request” button. Teachers and/or administrators will receive an email with the form and instructions.
In your Ravenna Hub, click on the Transcript Release Form, print the form, fill it out, and turn it into your student's current school's registrar. As we receive your child's records we will mark the steps in the right-hand column complete. Please allow time for processing.
All applicants are interviewed as part of the application process. Interview appointment selection must be completed online. Once you have submitted your online application, paid the application fee, and it has been reviewed by the NDHS Admissions Team, you will be able to select a date and time for your interview under "Additional Steps in your Ravenna Hub. The student and at least one parent are required to attend the interview.
The test will take place on Jan. 22, 2022. The cost of the exam is included in the application fee. It is highly recommended that you take the HSPT at Notre Dame High School (NDHS) as applicants who take the test at NDHS will be considered first. More details will be sent closer to the test date.
The transfer application process for the 2021-2022 school year is closed. The transfer application process for the Fall of 2022 will begin on Friday, April 1, 2022.
Thank you for your interest in applying to Notre Dame High School. Most students enter Notre Dame for ninth grade, but we are sometimes able to accept transfer students into grades ten and eleven.
We generally do not accept senior-year transfers but may consider applicants on a case-by-case basis. Because Notre Dame enrollment is currently at capacity, transfer applicants are considered on a "space available" basis. Transfer students should apply in the spring for the following fall term.
We do not typically enroll mid-year transfers.
Requirements for Freshman Applicants
Take the High School Placement Test (HSPT). Taking the test at Notre Dame is highly recommended. Notre Dame will forward test scores to other high schools at the applicant’s request on the test day.
Receive a positive recommendation from a Notre Dame representative after completion of an on-campus interview with the applicant and at least one parent in attendance.
Acceptance to Notre Dame is preliminary until the successful completion of eighth-grade courses, with no grade lower than "C" in any course and no disciplinary incidents, as shown on the final report card.
