  • Transfer Application Process

Thank you for your interest in applying to Notre Dame High School, the pre-eminent Catholic, co-educational, independent, college preparatory school in Los Angeles.

Most students join the Notre Dame family in the fall of the ninth-grade year, but sometimes we are able to admit a small number of transfer students into grades ten and eleven, space permitting. Rarely are students admitted for grade twelve unless there are significant extenuating circumstances.

Ordinarily, transfer students are admitted during May-July for the fall semester which begins in August, but occasionally we have space to admit a small number at the midyear transfers for the spring semester which begins in January.

The transfer application portal will open each school year on September 1. If you are interested in transferring please complete the application by clicking on “Apply” and indicate whether you wish to be considered for “Spring” or “Fall”. Students who indicate “Spring” and apply by December 1 will have their application read for January, and if not admitted will have their application reconsidered for August (if family requests it).

    Application Requirements:
-High School Transcripts (Grades 9-11) *Grade Level(s) that are Applicable to you*
    -Notre Dame High School Interview
-Current English & Math Teacher Recommendations
