Transfer Students

List of 1 items.

  • Transfer Process

The transfer application process for the 2021-2022 school year is closed. The transfer application process for the Fall of 2022 will begin on Friday, April 1, 2022.

Thank you for your interest in applying to Notre Dame High School. Most students enter Notre Dame for ninth grade, but we are sometimes able to accept transfer students into grades ten and eleven.

We generally do not accept senior-year transfers but may consider applicants on a case-by-case basis. Because Notre Dame enrollment is currently at capacity, transfer applicants are considered on a "space available" basis. Transfer students should apply in the spring for the following fall term.

We do not typically enroll mid-year transfers.

Requirements for Freshman Applicants

  • Take the High School Placement Test (HSPT). Taking the test at Notre Dame is highly recommended. Notre Dame will forward test scores to other high schools at the applicant’s request on the test day.
  • Receive a positive recommendation from a Notre Dame representative after completion of an on-campus interview with the applicant and at least one parent in attendance.
  • Acceptance to Notre Dame is preliminary until the successful completion of eighth-grade courses, with no grade lower than "C" in any course and no disciplinary incidents, as shown on the final report card.
