iOS Updates
 
At this time, we are asking students not to update their iPads to iPadOS 15 until the technology department has completed testing the new operating system.

Enable iCloud (Protect Student Data on iPads)

Notre Dame High School is not responsible for any lost data on student iPads.  All students must activate the
“iCloud backup” function and are expected to back up all educational work on their iPad by enabling appropriate cloud-based storage services such as Google Drive, Box, and Dropbox.  If you enabled iCloud backup from your device, your data should be stored and protected.  To enable iCloud backup, go to Settings, iCloud, enable the iCloud Drive, and select all the apps that you want to be saved to iCloud.  Students must also go to specific apps (i.e. Notability) and enable cloud-based backup.  To enable cloud backup for Notability, go to Settings, Auto-backup (select Google Drive or other service), then go to iCloud and enable the ‘iCloud Sync’ service.  Please make sure students have configured both steps correctly.
