School News


Feeling stressed about your upcoming finals? Join Bring Change to Mind Club in the quad today, Thursday, May 23rd, for stress ball making! We will be constructing D.I.Y personalized stress balls with balloons to help cope with the stress of finals! Don’t forget to bring your markers to decorate! When you finish you’ll be able to take your ball home, to use throughout finals week.

Attention students returning to ND in the fall: An email with your approved course requests for next year was sent to your school email address.  Read all information, instructions, and deadlines in the email very carefully. See your counselor if you have questions.

If you are interested in finding out more about the Moreau Mentor program for next school year you must attend one of the following scheduled meetings: Friday, May 24 for the class of 2022 all meetings will be held in the Lecture Hall at the beginning of x-period. Contact Ms. Patarias with any questions.

Tickets for The Laramie Project are on sale for $15 and may be purchased online at or in Ms. Goossen's office in the Holy Cross Center. The show runs for three shows only Thursday, May 23 through Saturday, May 25.

Donate your used prescription and non-prescription sunglasses and eyeglasses to your religion classroom all May and put them into the collection boxes.

Today is Domino's Pizza Day in the cafeteria

There are still several students that have a negative balance.  Reminders went out to you on Monday or Tuesday so you are aware.  Please take care of these balances by Friday.

Club News

The Bridges Club will have our final meeting of the year at lunch, in the activity center. We will be talking about plans for next year as well as having a discussion about the Laramie Project. All are welcome.

Konnichiwa Knights! The Japan Club will be having its last meeting of the year on Friday in Room 12 during X-Period. We will be holding elections for Club Officers and a mini party to celebrate the 2018-2019 school year. Make sure to be there! Thank you and Sayonara Knights!

Class News


Sophomores and Juniors, if are you interested in going to Washington DC next year for the Close Up trip, please see Mr. Stark in room 22 or 26 for more information!  There will be an interest meeting for students and parents tonight at 7pm in the Lecture Hall.

Attention Sophomores, there are a few spots open for the July 24-26th Immersion in July. We are giving you the opportunity to experience what everyone has enjoyed, while attending Notre Dame. Please pick up an application in Campus Ministry, or print out the one sent to you via email from Ms Alvarez. The cost is $200 to attend, this includes all of your lodging, meals, and transportation. If you have any questions, please speak to Ms. Alvarez or Ms. Morley in Campus Ministry.

Attention Freshman ASB:  There will be a quick mandatory meeting Friday at the beginning of x period.  The meeting will begin promptly at 1:30 pm in Room 8, Mr. Good’s classroom.  Attendance will be taken so please be on time.

Sports News

Good luck to Christian Grubb, Quintin Lyons and Vaiva Puodziunas who leave today to compete in the California State Track and Field Prelims and Finals at Buchanan High School in Clovis. Go Knights!
