Our Summer Knights Enrichment offerings portray our commitment to educating hearts and minds at Notre Dame. We are excited to offer courses that will accomplish this goal while providing an exciting and engaging experience for students.
While these courses do not offer academic credit, they are wonderful opportunities to enrich their learning journeys.

Are you looking to advance in your Spanish studies? This one-week boot camp will equip you with the essential skills to move forward with ease. This is geared towards students who are moving into their second, third, or fourth years of Spanish language study.
What are your interests and how can we link them to potential career paths? Do you need help with building your resume and preparing for an interview? This course will assist you to do some self-exploration (interests, personality styles, skills) through self-assessments and how they align to potential career paths. You will develop skills to locate career information, be exposed to resume writing and develop interview strategies through mock-up interviews. Further, learn about average salary information, education requirements and skills for your career.
Note: This course will run from 9:30-11:30 each day

We’ve teamed up with the NDHS College Counselors to personally guide and coach you to write YOUR best college admission essays THIS summer!
In College Essay Bootcamp, your teen will get 20 hours of guided instruction, an assigned essay coach, focused writing time, clarity on what to write, daily personalized feedback, and 4 core essays done and ready to retweak and repurpose again and again.
WHO IS ESSAY CAMP FOR?
1 - The OVERACHIEVER who will go for perfection over process (and spend 2x or 3x longer writing than s/he needs to).
2 - The DOER who wants this done already. (Teens will spend as much time as you give them to complete any task - just get it DONE)
3 - The DREAMER who wants to stand out among thousands applying to Top 100 colleges.
4- The PROCRASTINATOR with smart PARENTS who don't want to nag and worry for six months.

Begin by watching THIS Essay Mini Training. This will walk you through everything you need to know about essay camp and WHY it is key to gaining admission to top colleges. Everything you need is in this training, including the 2022 essay camp dates, free sample essays and a brainstorm worksheet. NDHS is hosting the week of June 6-10 (5-Day camp) and August 7-10 (4-Day camp)
4 - NOTE - Registration opens April 11 and we will have an early bird special at the 2021 prices. Be sure to complete the Essay Bootcamp Application to receive notification in April and to make sure you get a spot. Spots are limited. We will have a coupon code for all NDHS families!
College Essay Guy Virtual Workshops
Notre Dame is partnering with College Essay Guy this year to offer you free virtual workshops for the college essays (Common Application Personal Statement and UC Personal Insight Questions). Ethan Sawyer's College Essay Guy program is well-regarded in the college admissions community. These Essay Boot Camps are live, but recordings will also be sent to students who sign up, so they can watch on their own time or reference back. Once signed up, you will receive an email closer to the time of your selected dates with further details about the webinar and what to expect. You are welcome to sign up for either or both session types.
