Dear Notre Dame Students,
Attached below is information about how we will be conducting online courses. There is a lot of information included, so please read through slowly and carefully and keep it handy so you can refer back to it as needed.
I want to start by telling you that we, your teachers, counselors, and administrators know that some of you are worried and anxious about these uncertain times. Please be assured that we are all here to help you, and together we will work through this uncertainty. Please stay home, continue to practice good hygiene and social distancing, and follow your parents’ guidance. This is not the time to let paranoia and hysteria get the best of you, but it is also not the time to be going out with friends and/or holding large gatherings. Stay home, stay on top of your school work, and make some time for fun and hobbies. This may be an unprecedented time in our history, but it can also be used to all of our benefit as a time to slow down and take personal inventory. I encourage you to stay strong in your faith through daily prayer, and never forget that our Catholic, Judeo-Christian faith and heritage reminds us that our God is always with us:
“Do not fear: I am with you; I am your God. I will strengthen you, and I will help you. I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.” -Isaiah 41:10
Please take some time to read all of these attachments so that you are always prepared for class. The attachments are as follows:
*The copy of the blue and gold schedule contain slightly revised times. Since there are no bells at home to remind you of class time, you may want to set alarms.
Please continue to check your emails several times each day, and check the school’s website and your Canvas account frequently. I look forward to having all of you, and our faculty and staff, back here on campus soon.
With my continued prayers for your health, safety, and well-being,
