200th Anniversary of Holy Cross


July 20, marks the anniversary of the founding of the Brothers of St. Joseph, who 17 years later became the Brothers of Holy Cross. In 1947, Notre Dame High School was built by the Holy Cross Brothers with the principles of faith and service, and so they hold a very special place in our history and our hearts.  

The Generalate of the Congregation of Holy Cross in Rome has provided us with a wealth of resources that includes information about the life of Fr. Dujarie, founder of the Brothers of St. Joseph; the early works of the Brothers of St. Joseph; prayers, talks, essays, reflections and letters; and a wonderful video titled The Foundation, produced by Brother Nich Perez, C.S.C.
