Built by Knights is an alumni competition focused on celebrating Notre Dame alumni who are transforming industries and strengthening their communities through entrepreneurship.
Rooted in the Notre Dame tradition of faith, leadership, and service, Built by Knights honors alumni who are not only building successful ventures but using their gifts to create meaningful impact in the world.
Who We’re Looking For
- Founders or co-founders of businesses, startups, or nonprofits

Builders and operators creating new solutions, products, or services

Innovators transforming traditional industries in thoughtful, values-driven ways
- Leaders using entrepreneurship as a force for good in their communities

Nomination Details
Nominees may be at any stage of their journey—from early growth to established ventures. There is no age limit and the only requirement is that they are alumni and not current students.
To submit a nomination, please fill out the application linked below. After our committee reviews, a small number of honorees will be featured more deeply throughout the 2026 Summer Knight Letter, highlighting their stories, journeys, and impact.
