Passing 30 Years of Achievement: Ken Martinet, Tim Macker, and Kevin Shanon

Notre Dame Alumni Ken Martinet ‘59, Tim Macker ‘63, and Kevin Shannon ‘76 have all surpassed over 30 years of work and commitment to Catholic Big Brothers Big Sisters of Los Angeles County. CEO and President Ken, and Board of Directors members Tim and Kevin have embodied the spirit of Catholic generosity. As Catholic Big Brothers Big Sisters celebrate 100 years of service this holiday season, let us continue their mission of serving those in need. 










Andy Chaleff: Book Publication and Award

Class of 1988 Alumni Andy Chaleff published his fourth book Dying to Live: Finding Life's Meaning Through Death. On top of publication, Andy's book was awarded the winner of the 2025 Death & Dying category from the American Bookfest. 






Matthew Von Der Ahe: Newspaper Feature

Class of 2021 Alumni Matthew Von Der Ahe was highlighted in the Los Angeles Daily News for his activism and fighting stereotypes in the world of acting.
