Transfer Application Process

List of 4 items.

  • Step 1 - Create An Account in Blackbaud and Complete An Application

    • Create an account in Blackbaud using the link below.
    • Once you have created an account, you will be directed to the Notre Dame High School application.
    • Once you get to your Blackbaud Admissions Portal, click on the button next to “Application” and start the application process.
    • The fee to apply to Notre Dame High School is a non-refundable application fee that is paid through your personal Blackbaud account.
    • To create your personal Blackbaud account and apply online, please click Blackbaud Account
  • Step 2 - Schedule an Interview (Student Interview Process)

    • All applicants are interviewed as part of the application process. Your interview appointment selection must be completed online.
    • Once you have submitted your online application, paid the application fee, and it has been reviewed and processed by the NDHS Admissions Team, you will be able to select a date and time for your interview in your Blackbaud Admissions Portal.
The student and at least one parent are required to attend the interview.
  • Step 3 - Request for Recommendations (English, Math, and Counselor)

    • All applicants are required to send a request to some of your current teachers and/or administrators asking them to complete a recommendation form. This entire process is initiated by the applicant from their checklist.
    • Select “Start” next to a Recommendation step to open the request details. In there, the applicant can add the Recommender Name, their Email address, and any additional comments for the faculty member. A preview is available for use before the request is sent out which displays what the notification looks like to the individual receiving it.
    • When everything looks good, select “Send Request." The status of the request displays on the checklist as well as the timestamp to keep the applicant up to date on the process.
    • After a form is sent to the faculty member, the status displays as “Requested”, then changing to “Completed” once the form has been completed by the faculty member.
  • Step 4 - Request Transcripts (we will need current grades and if accepted, final grades will be required by July 1st)

    • In your Blackbaud Admissions Portal, please click the "Online Transcript Request" button to request your transcripts from your student's current school. We will need grades for all grade levels (9,10,11) that your student has attended high school.  If your school does not accept digital requests, we have also included a Transcript Release Form in your checklist that can be used as a downloadable document.
    • Please download the Transcript Release Form, fill it out, and turn it in to your student's current school so that they may send us transcripts.
    • A check mark in your portal's checklist will indicate it has been completed, reviewed, and processed.  Please allow time for processing.
