Ms. Evelyn Fajardo
As a Bay Area native living in Los Angeles for the last decade, Ms. Evelyn Fajardo is a California girl through and through! She earned two Bachelor degrees in 2016 from Loyola Marymount University (LMU) in Psychology and Music, after which she worked briefly in the influencer marketing space before pursuing her passion for education. Ms. Fajardo worked as an undergraduate admission counselor at LMU for several years, where she learned the ins and outs of the university admission and financial aid process. After realizing that her favorite part of admission was working directly with students, Ms. Fajardo earned her Master's in School Counseling with a Pupil Personnel Services credential in 2022 from LMU, making her a proud double Lion.
In addition to providing guidance on students’ academic and post-graduation journeys, Ms. Fajardo is passionate about supporting her students’ holistic wellness – mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Her favorite part of being a counselor is building relationships with her students and walking with them as they experience life’s ups and downs. Outside of Notre Dame, Ms. Fajardo enjoys making music with her husband, watching Disney, Marvel, and Star Wars movies/shows, and spending quality time with her beloved pup, Dolly Pawton.
Ms. Fajardo is a member of the American School Counselor Association (ASCA), National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC), and Western Association for College Admission Counseling (WACAC).
