  • Step 1 - Create An Account in Blackbaud and Complete An Application

    • Create an account in Blackbaud using the link below.
    • Once you have created an account, you will be directed to the Notre Dame High School application.
    • Once you get to your Blackbaud Admissions Portal, click on the button next to “Application” and start the application process.
    • The fee to apply to Notre Dame High School is $130. This is a non-refundable application fee that is paid through your personal Blackbaud account.
To create your personal Blackbaud account and apply online, please click Blackbaud Account
  • Step 2 - Schedule an Interview (Student Interview Process)

All applicants are interviewed as part of the application process. Your interview appointment selection must be completed online. Once you have submitted your online application, paid the application fee, and it has been reviewed and processed by the NDHS Admissions Team, you will be able to select a date and time for your interview in your Blackbaud Admissions Portal. The student and at least one parent are required to attend the interview. Once this step is completed the following steps will become available to the applicant families.
  • Step 3 - Request for Recommendations (Available Oct.1)

All applicants are required to send a request to some of your current teachers and/or administrators asking them to complete a recommendation form. This entire process is initiated by the applicant from their checklist. Select “Start” next to a Recommendation step to open the request details. In there, the applicant can add the Recommender Name, their Email address, and any additional comments for the faculty member. A preview is available for use before the request is sent out which displays what the notification looks like to the individual receiving it. When everything looks good, select “Send Request”. The status of the request displays on the checklist as well as the timestamp to keep the applicant up to date on the process. After a form is sent to the faculty member, the status displays as “Requested”, then changing to “Completed” once the form has been completed by the faculty member.
  • Step 4 - Request Transcripts (should NOT be sent to school until 1st semester of 8th grade has been completed)

In your Blackbaud Admissions Portal, please click the "Online Transcript Request" button to request your transcripts from your student's current school. We will need grades for 6th - 8th grade. If your school does accept digital requests, we have also included the Transcript Release Form as a downloadable document. Please download the Transcript Release Form, fill it out, and present it to your student's current school so that they may send us transcripts. All academic records will be reviewed and processed in January. A Blue check mark will indicate it has been completed, reviewed, and processed in your checklist. Please allow time for processing.
  • Step 5 - HSPT Entrance Exam

The HSPT is one of the requirements for potential acceptance into NDHS. The test will take place on January 24, 2026.

The cost of the exam is included in the application fee.

The applicant will automatically be registered for the exam once the application has been submitted. It is highly recommended that you take the HSPT at Notre Dame High School (NDHS), as applicants who take the test at NDHS will be considered first. More details will be sent closer to the test date.
  • Step 6- Applying for Financial Aid (Optional)

If you would like to apply for financial aid, please click here to find out more about the process. Applying for financial aid is completely separate from the admissions application process.

To apply for financial aid, please click Financial Aid. If you have additional questions, please contact the NDHS Business Office at financialaid@ndhs.org.

Application FAQs

List of 5 items.

  • Can my student take the HSPT elsewhere?

Yes, your student is able to take the HSPT at another school. Your student will have to tell the school to send us their results. Something to keep in mind, if your student tests elsewhere, they are no longer eligible for our only merit based scholarship we offer. It is highly recommended that you take the HSPT at Notre Dame High School (NDHS), as applicants who take the test at NDHS will be considered first.  More details will be sent closer to the test date.
  • Do you have scholarships available?

The only merit based scholarship we have available is based on our HSPT. Students have to take the test on our campus and score a 95 and above to be automatically awarded the HSPT merit scholarship. We also have financial assistance available which is a separate application and a separate fee.
  • Does my student have to be Catholic to go to your school?

No, your student does not have to be Catholic to attend Notre Dame High School (NDHS).
  • How do we register for the HSPT Entrance Exam?

Your student is automatically enrolled for our HSPT once their application is submitted and paid for.
  • Where do we upload recommendation letters and schedule an interview?

Once you have submitted and paid for the initial application, it will take our team about two weeks to process. After we have processed your application, a checklist will appear in your application portal with space for recommendations, downloading the transcript release form, and scheduling an interview.
