Transfer Application Process

List of 4 items.

  • STEP 1: CREATE AN ACCOUNT IN BLACKBAUD AND FILL OUT THE APPLICATION FORM

    • Create an account in Blackbaud using the link below.
    • Once you have created an account, you will be directed to the Notre Dame High School application.
    • Once you get to your Blackbaud Admissions Portal, click on the button next to “Application” and start the application process. Please make sure you are completing the “Transfer Application.”
    • The fee to apply to Notre Dame High School as a transfer is $175.  This is a non-refundable application fee paid through your Blackbaud account.

To create your personal Blackbaud account and apply online, please click Blackbaud Account.
  • STEP 2: REQUEST YOUR RECOMMENDATION FORMS

Once your application has been reviewed and processed, all applicants are required to send a request to some of your current teachers and/or administrators, asking them to complete a recommendation form.

This entire process is initiated by the candidate from their Blackbaud checklist

Select Start next to a Recommendation step to open the request details.

In there, the Candidate can add the Recommender Name, their Email address, and any additional comments for the faculty member.

A preview is available for use before the request is sent out, which displays what the notification looks like to the person receiving it.

When everything looks good, select Send Request. The status of the request displays on the checklist and the timestamp to keep the candidate up to date on the process.

After a form is sent to a faculty member, the status displays as Requested, then changes to Completed once the form has been reviewed and processed by the NDHS Admissions Team.
  • STEP 3: REQUEST TRANSCRIPTS

In your Blackbaud Admissions Portal, click on the Online Transcript Request to send a transcript request to your student's current school. If your student has been to multiple schools, please click on the Transcript Release Form, print the form, fill it out, and submit it to your student's current school's registrar.

As we receive your child's records, we will mark the steps complete.

A blue check mark will indicate it has been completed, reviewed, and processed. Please allow time for processing.
  • STEP 4: STUDENT INTERVIEW PROCESS

All applicants are interviewed as part of the application process.

Next Year Transfers (Applications in March): Once you have submitted your application, paid the application fee, and your application has been reviewed and processed by the NDHS Admissions Team, you can select a date and time for your interview in your Blackbaud Admissions Portal.

All prospective transfer students must be present for their interview as well as at least one parent or guardian.
