  • Freshman

At the freshman and sophomore levels, emphasis is placed on the development of good study habits and skills.

Students also receive an introduction to Scoir (new platform starting this year) which allows them to begin exploring college options and requirements for college admission, and provides access to career tools.
  • Sophomores

At the freshman and sophomore levels, emphasis is placed on the development of good study habits and skills.

Students will continue using SCOIR, our college and career exploration platform, to explore college options, admission requirements, and career pathways.

  • Juniors

In the first semester of junior year, students are assigned a college counselor who follows them throughout junior and senior year. The self-exploration and research students focus on as freshmen and sophomores transitions in the spring of junior year to a strong emphasis on the college process and application timeline, and developing the college list. The college counselors begin meeting one-on-one with their students and their families, while also meeting with students through multiple classroom visits. Juniors also have the opportunity to participate in an optional college admissions readiness class taught by the college counselors during the summer before the start of senior year. This allows our students to get a head start on their college applications and personal statements.
